Their road stopped here, but ours continues with them.
We don't say long goodbyes to those who are part of us ; we simply change the form of the bond. This page is not a memorial of the end, it is the concrete act of not forgetting.
Every being you will see here lived under this roof until their last breath. They were not passing companions, they were the fibre of our home. Absence does not erase them : it inhabits our silences, our gazes into the void, and the return of the seasons they loved so much.
Thank you for being here to see them, one more time. So that their light, for the time of a glance, crosses the present once again.
